Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved recognition for her performance in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film where she starred with an established actor Anil Kapoor. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. When she was a kid, the Mumbai-born dancer began learning at an early stage. At the age of 16 She began to act and suffered for several years because most of her first films were failures. Eventually she became one the most famous actresses in Indian film. After marriage, she experienced a career break before reentering the film industry. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her social work is also known to the world.
