Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. She is famous for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively on ABC's Lost TV show. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of high school after her parents split up to move to Los Angeles to live with her mother. Though she struggled financially in 2001, her debut came in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. The television film Murder in Greenwich where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was a main character for the initial two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was forced to quit the series to focus on her acting career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog in 2005. She was on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played Shannon's part on Lost for two episodes, which included the finale of the series. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th season. The role she plays is Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars and catches the eye from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She started her acting career when she was a teenager, playing small appearances in his films. She also appeared with her brother in the popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). The year 2002 saw her starred as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Also, she appeared on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her leading performances in the romantic erotic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the drama Sherrybaby (2006) each of which brought her the Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame.
