MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for the year 2017. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca is it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the following year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is an essential part of his life. When he was young, he taught to play guitar, the piano as well as the ukulele. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
